I attended the Emma-Gaala (Finnish Grammys) afterparty with a bunch of my lovely ladies last Friday.

The Friday night official mirror selfie with the loveliest Isa and Sonja.

I got a lot of inquieries and questions about my chosen dress for the night so here are the details!

My gold shimmering kimono styled (with a peek-a-boo back detail) dress is from H&M‘s Conscious Exclusive Collection and will be in stores shortly. It’s such a pretty piece, sigh!!
Shoes are also from H&M, from their spring collection, and they are the comfiest heels I’ve had on in a while. (Note that they are the perfect heels from day to night!)
With the jewellery I opted for gold (love gold!) and chose hoops and a ring from Thomas Sabo‘s selection.

Thank you Saara for the invite and such a great night. Safe travels back to LA, gonna miss you!!

dress mania

Love it when the award season and fashion weeks collide!! So many beautiful dresses everywhere and new trends & ideas to adapt to your own wardrobe!! The possibilities!! Endless!!

Can’t get over all the giggles Ellen DeGeneres created hosting the Oscars (that selfie, genious!!), she’s beyond hi-la-rious!!

There were pretty distinguished evening gowns at the Oscars but I think Sienna Miller totally killed it at the Vanity Fair afterparty…
That red, those golden cuffs, the clutch and belt all imply the gal totally has some fashion sense!!

And I totally dig her non-chalant out-of-bed hair!

The second dress that caught my eye this morning at the Chanel FW14 frow was Keira Knightley’s black and white Chanel number.
Can you believe how classic the dress looks eventhough there’s the element of the piece du jour, the crop top?!
The golden heels are a top choice!!

And now back to Oscars.
Finland got the first EVER nomination for an Oscar this year for Best Live Action Short Film. The film is called “Pitääkö mun kaikki hoitaa?” and the crew looked superbeautiful on the red carpet.

All clad in unique dresses by top Finnish designers -from left: director Selma Vilhunen in a yellow dream of a dress by Katri Niskanen, the scriptwriter Kirsikka Saari in the jewel-like white gown by Teemu Muurimäki. Mert Otsamo designed the beautiful peachy and dark lace dresses for the producer Jenni Toivoniemi and the lead actress Joanna Haartti.
The ladies were styled by the coolest Teri Niitti, make up and hair was by ever so lovely Karo Kangas and the official photographer was the talented Elina Simonen.
